Dr. Richard B. Southwell joined Gem City Bone & Joint in 1980. Dr. Southwell is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot / ankle injuries and general orthopedics.

In addition to serving patients in Laramie, Cheyenne and Torrington, Dr. Southwell also serves patients at the University of Wyoming’s Student Health Center on the University of Wyoming campus.

An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Southwell enjoys mountain climbing, skiing, scuba diving, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
