Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Michael Wasser joined Gem City Bone & Joint in 1987. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine.
While serving the communities of Laramie, Casper, Cheyenne and Gillette, Dr. Wasser focuses on treating patients with sports-related injuries, and knee and shoulder problems.
Dr. Wasser has been involved in sports coverage of the University of Wyoming, the Casper Ghosts (minor league affiliate to the Colorado Rockies), and the Casper Calvary Professional Indoor Football, as well as junior college and high school teams throughout the State of Wyoming. Dr. Wasser has also covered NCAA basketball championships and the world gymnastics tournament.
An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Wasser if often seen bicycling around Laramie with his family. He also enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, ice hockey, skiing and hiking.
